PASTOR JAMES KENDRICK

The Reverend James Kendrick comes to Orange Park Presbyterian Church from Calvin Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville, Florida, where he served for four years. Prior to that, James served other congregations in the greater Jacksonville area as a transitional Pastor.


James earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from The Florida State University and received his Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He is passionate about serving God’s people through meaningful worship, walking alongside individuals and families through life’s joys and challenges, and living out the gospel through compassion, service, and a deep commitment to social justice, particularly among the least and the lost.


James lives in Jacksonville Beach where he enjoys surfing, reading, and spending time outdoors. He and his wife, Sallie Gipson , have two adult children.
